Mr. Simmons is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in the State of Maryland and holds a Bachelor’s degree in accounting from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University. Mr. Simmons joined the firm in November 1999 and has over 20 years of experience in public accounting. His client responsibilities deal primarily with tax, both corporate and personal, as well as audit, review and compilation engagements. His audits mostly consist of non-profits.
He is a member of the Maryland Association of Certified Public Accountants (MACPA) and the Maryland Society of Accounting and Tax Professionals (MSATP).
Outside of work Matthew likes to watch and attend sporting events as well as read books.
